After the animals run off the farmer, they cautiously enter his house, where their suspicions about the awfulness of men are confirmed…in the form of TV commercials. Eventually, they just unplug the dang thing.

Animal Farm takes place on, well, a farm. I mean, it’s right there in the title, isn’t it? Here’s a quick sample of where we left the audience during intermission.

The farmers band together and under the cover of a thunderstorm, blow up the windmill the animals have worked so hard to build.

The reign of the pigs becomes more and more extravagant and oppressive. Napoleon enters on a tractor and is greeted by a gun salute before addressing the crowd and leaving the way he came. (Warning: this clip contains the sound of gunfire.)
